I grew up and went to college in WI. I graduated with an Early Childhood education degree. This is my 11th year teaching and my 6th year in Kindergarten. I love this age and their excitement for school. I love being a part of the time they are discovering school and a love for learning.I am a mom to a 10-year-old, named Deegan. He is a ball of energy and LOVES Legos. I really enjoy seeing all the structures and vehicles he creates. He is an avid reader and enjoys sharing what he is reading with his Grandpa. He has a passion for drawing and sketching many things mythical creatures.
My husband, Drew, and I have been married 11 years and met here in Arizona. Drew is a self-employed handyman and manages commercial and residential properties. We love getting outdoors and have a trailer that we are fixing up and taking camping even more. He also loves fishing so we have enjoyed taking time to fish.
I was born and raised in Wisconsin, so I am a little country at heart. I spent most of my time as a child outside building forts, jumping creeks and getting dirty. I do miss the fall season but love our warmer weather. I love snowboarding but am not a fan of shoveling snow. We travel back to WI as much as we can to visit, as all my family lives there. I love to travel and have been fortunate to do it quite a bit within the U.S. as well as abroad to Canada, Mexico, Russia, Siberia, New Zealand, Australia, Belize and Germany. I love learning about other cultures.
Danielle DeMeese – Assistant Teacher
My name is Danielle DeMeese and this will be my sixth year with Archway Lincoln. This is my 8th year as a TA, I spent 4 years as a 1st grade TA and this will be my 4th as a Kindergarten TA. I have a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. I have 2 daughters, Chloe in 7th grade and Madeline in 10th grade. My husband Chad and I enjoy spending time with our daughters, our 4 dogs, Willow, Sage, Biscuit and Snickers, and our hedgehog Ollie. We enjoy camping, traveling, and just spending time together. I truly enjoy working with children and I am very excited to work here at Archway Lincoln with your family. It’s going to be a fun year!
